the happiest and saddest day

salam...

i'll start by telling about the happiest day- it was yesterday: the day we celebrated my mommy's birthday....
we (along, nana and myself) wished mommy as soon as we woke up.we sang a happy birthday song for mommy.
Since ayah is still in Madinah, we will celebrate mommy's and adik birthday later.....
However to makeup, today mommy cooked the most delicious lauk for us -
daging unta masak kicap and ikan masin masak lemak cili padi... to add up, aunty Yumi sent asam pedas and ikan kerisi goreng and aunty Sarimah sent burung puyuh goreng tepung..

to mommy, happy birthday and we all love you ....

now, is the time of telling about the saddest story...
On wednesday evening, we received news of my dearest BFF and family's accident. Mommy tried to called aunty Zue but failed to reach her line. we only get update via the fb status...
and around 9pm, aunty Zue returned mommy's called.
She informed that uncle qew and herself are okay. but my BFF kakak Fara's hand was broken. The worst is Qaizer. He was transfer from SJMC to UH ...
Hopefully everything will turn okay.. I pray for their wellness...

it's time for me to sign off...
today mommy is attending the parent-teacher meeting for along and my self...hopefully the teachers give a good feedback...
opps.. i forget to update u all, we have recieved our report card... i'll upload it later- after mommy come back from the meeting..
Qistina's meeting will be held on next tuesday..
bye...

Qayyum's Birthday

Helloooo.....
Yesterday was my little brother - birthday. He is now 3 years old. As we are now still in Madinah, and ayah is too busy with his work we postpone our family dinner till we are back to Jeddah.
As for birthday present, adik haven't make up his mind. Last week he wanted to go to school- as his birthday present. Yesterday he wanted along's psp. But last night he don't want anything. So we just wait and see for what ayah and mummy choose for him. May be it is psp go or ipod touch or may be also ipad - (which are actually along and myself wishes).
To cheers adik's birthday, last night we played and ate Mc Donald - a luxury if you are in Madinah.  You will not find McD near Haram. It is situated at the outskirt of Haram - which we don't know the name of the place... The place is happening - as if you are in Tahlia Street in Jeddah or Bukit Bintang in Malaysia..
Even thought it is a simple meal - and the birthday boy only ordered a cone ice cream cost SAR 1 (along and myself had oreo mcflurry, mc arabia and nuggets, nana had sundae and fillet o fish) ... but what is the most important things is our togetherness and happiness ...  oppsss...
I have to stop now, ayah is on the way back from airport to pick us up. Insyaalah we are boarding the 12:40pm flight back to Jeddah. I'll write back when we arrive home. Before I stop,
I wish adik a happy birthday.... and below are some photographs taken at McD Madinah last night...

hence, my first entry

Bonjour...yeah....at last i managed to have my own blog (with a smiling face)... Thanks to mommy for helping me created this blog(I love u).

This is a blog created for me to express my feeling on my life here in Jeddah. It is a new place for my family and I. A new many faces - malaysian, egyptian, pakistani, english, arabs, sudanese, indian, chinese, lebanese, american and many more peoples from countries that i never dream to face off.
of course i missed my old life in malaysia. i miss my friends - farisha, imanina, sofea elina, sofianor and dhiya dhani,  my cousins - kakak anis, kakak fatehah, angah fiqah, iman, nini and all the boys...missed the time when we played and laughed...
BUT lives here is okay... hmph... the school is much...much...x0x0 much better than Malaysia... Even i have to carry heavy bags everyday (but not very far: the transport pick me up infront of my house n drop me at the school entrance.. a minute walk to my class), do my homework daily, but school is FUN.... really, really FUN. The subject is interesting. Though it is quite difficult but I like it... Text books contains more explanatory picture with simple paragraph rather than a full pages with text as what we have in Malaysia...Unless the you're lazy, there is no way you don't understand the subject... it is the easiest and simplest method of studying.
I learn new subjects like geography, Arabic, Quran, french, general knowledge, computer and history. Here, we study science and computer in the lab. We experimental things in the labs... We study geography in projector room...
The Quran subject is the time to memorizing surat in quran. Now I've memorized Surat AlBalad, AlFajr, AlSham, AlGhassiyah and AlA'ala.
I also likes all the teachers in AlWadi International School. They are not like Malaysian teacher who always scold students and expect students to obey them... Teachers here are more like our friends. They are kind and understandable. They understand we are children with children needs...we can jump, run, play, shout and do all the kids stuff all the time...
If you were absent, you'll be given private tutorial during break hour.  Break hour is 45 minutes. If you don't finish your homework or you don't understand they will guide you during your break hour. They also play with you. You'll be given stickers, stamps, sweets, chocolates and goodies as signs of appreciation of your good job...And of course you'll feel appreciated of what you have done.
Since the school is the most enjoyable place, mummy and ayah said, that my brother, sister and myself must study hard to compete with other students all around the world...  now, we don't only bear my family name. We carry along Malaysian flag... According to mommy if I'm not doing well, people won't recognise me. but they recognise my country - Malaysia and they will think Malaysian are stupid...
Alhamdulillah, as the school are now in proceedings, i manage to get full marks for all my pop quizes, A for all my projects and almost full marks in my mid sem exam...
Arghhh... i just realised that it is a long writing for my first entry....so much to write actually...soo many story to share...Hopefully you'll enjoy my story in this land of barakkah...Rendez-vous à nouveau dans la prochaine entrée...
